    Has anyone else connected to a Synchronet BBS with a WiC64 or other WiFi interface?

    All the time :). I've got a userport "modem" made from an ESP8266 nodemcu. tacopronto.bbs.io:2064 is my 40 col PETSCII port.

    Try using 39 *s instead of 40.

    I'll try that, but idk if that fixes the issue since the issue looked to be with line breaks themselves and not word wrapping. The line breaks straight up weren't there on 80, at least on my end.
