    When you're working with crappy models to try to get working code, you're still solving problems :). Just different kinds of problems.

    has nothing to do with generative AI programming tools like Claude Code and OpenAI's Codex that *I'm* talking.

    Have you used those with local models? I'm not sure if Codex can be used with a local model, but Claude can. I haven't tried Codex at all yet. Either way, which do you prefer?
