Three firefighters have died and two were injured in a burnover incident while fighting wildfires on the Colorado-Utah border. The Knowles and Gore fires are the largest blazes in the region, with the Cottonwood Fire burning in Utah's Beaver County and the Snyder Fire covering more than 28, 000 acres. The fires are intensifying due to low humidity, high temperatures, and strong winds, and have already damaged structures and damaged ski resorts. The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for particularly dangerous conditions.
